Most of y'all are familiar with our on-going, hip-hop mixtape series, Digital Dynasty, but Tha Advocate and Ballerstatus.com also launched an R & B installment over two years ago. Today, we officially announce Digital Dynasty  R & B 2, hosted by Q Parker, formerly of the group 112.

"It's been over two years since we dropped the first  R & B volume with the legendary Mike Bivins, and now, I think it's the right time to follow-up," said Advo. "I have been watching Q make true R & B music over the past few months and it's an honor to work with him on this project. "His new album is crazy official and having him hosting our new volume is going to really set the tone for the type of music we will feature." he continued.

Like the main Digital Dynasty series, the mixtape is dedicated to putting fans up on new talent, who may not otherwise get the exposure they should receive. In this case, singers from around the world, or  R & B influenced music from rappers as well.

Submissions are open now. For info, reach out to Tha Advocate at shadowfalinx@hotmail.com.

"It's my turn, my turn to turn it all the way up," Q says of his involvement. "Let's get it clear: one reason Advo reached out to me is because he saw my new songs and this ain't about that microwaveable music. I'm gonna tell y'all that right now. We need to get back to the essence. With that said, we are gonna showcase a lot of substance music on this mixtape." So, stay tuned..

Following the announcement in late September, Tha Advocate and Ballerstatus.com's anticipated Digital Dynasty 22 mixtape is here... hosted by Philly rap veteran, Freeway.
The 22nd installment of our free digital mixtape series shines a light on up-and-coming talent. This time, we showcase nearly 45 tracks from artists around the nation... and the globe. Sprinkled in between is music from our gracious host, as well.
"I'm glad we got to do a Digital Dynasty with an artist repping one of the most influential cities in hip-hop (Philly)," said Digita Dynasty creator, Tha Advocate. "This mixtape is one of our best, and is perfect for the fall season. It's sprinkled with tons of Freeway songs -- old and new. Also, tons of talent from unsigned artists as well."
Without further adieu, fans can download Digital Dynasty 22 now, via DatPiff.com.
Also, make sure to support Freeway. He recently dropped a new solo mixtape, entitled Freedom of Speech. It features the likes of Wale, Styles P, Marsha Ambrosius, Musiq Soulchild, and more. Also follow the rapper on Twitter at: @PhillyFreezer.
For info on upcoming Digital Dynasty volumes, email Advo at: shadowfalinx@hotmail.com.

Australian rapper Whiplash has a new EP on the way. It features a song called “Crossing Over” which features 2 verses from Tha Advocate. It received rave reviews.

Our last installment of the Digital Dynasty mixtape series (#21, hosted by ThisIs50.com's Jack Thriller) dropped in early August. Two months later, we're prepping the upcoming release of #22... this time, hosted by Philly's own, Freeway. The former Roc-A-Fella signee/State Property member graciously signs on as host, as he readies his upcoming solo effort, Diamond In The Ruff, due out in mid-November.

"I am really amped on this one. 2012 is really being a productive year in the evolution of this Digital Dynasty brand," said the series' co-creator, Tha Advocate. "We have had a lot of artists from the east before, but none in Philly.
That's why I wanted to reach out to Freeway because he is a true emcee and definitely the flagship artist, in my book, to rep his city right. "We are gonna rock out with a lot of material from Free -- old and new. This is going to be a real hip-hop mixtape.

Whether you are signed or unsigned, if you got dope music, then holla at me. We are gearing up to be the alternative to the stagnant radio," he continues. Since its inception, the DD series has garnered over 1.2 million downloads. Past hosts include DJ Whoo Kid, Xzibit, the Alchemist, Ras Kass, Naughty By Nature, Killah Priest, Saigon, and Chamillionaire, among others. The tape series is dedicated to putting fans up on new talent, who may not otherwise get the exposure they should receive. Submissions are open for slots on #22 now.

For info, reach out to Tha Advocate at shadowfalinx@hotmail.com. Digital Dynasty 21 will drop in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

Tha Advocate Questions 9/11, Bin Laden Death On New Song, 'Behind The Curtain'

Our upcoming mixtape with Tha Advocate, entitled Digital Dynasty 21, is almost here. But, before we drop it ... we have one more exclusive.

Advo leaks out this new track alongside Lord Gang's Ky Williams, called "Behind The Curtain," which poses questions about 9/11, Bin Laden, and a shadow government.

"I made this song to ask questions that people consider taboo," the New Jersey rapper/producer explains. "A lot of of this 9/11 and Bin Laden talk definitely raises a lot of questions and when people ask, they are usually called crazy. Can planes really knock down two towers and Building #7 in controlled demolition format? How come most people don't know what Building #7 is? And how come people don't know over 100 architects say it's impossible for a collapse like that?

"That's why I put audio samples from various news shows covering this topic to show real people have these concerns ... not just some crazy ass rebel rappers from New Jersey. Me and Ky had several talks about this before, so we decided to pen our thoughts on this subject. This will be the first of many tracks on this topic and this is just the warm up lap."
